Colt Brennan is The Real McCoy
The FanHouse thinks Colt Brennan should be one of the top candidates for the 2007 Heisman Trophy. Of course they also thought he should’ve been higher in the voting for 2006, “But of [sic] Brennan can shatter the record books and still not get an invite to New York, we wonder what he’d have to do in 2007 to win the trophy!”
One of Brennan’s biggest hurdles to being a Heisman finalist in New York next December is the idea that he’s just a “system quarterback.” The numbers he put up last year in Coach June Jones’ offense were remarkable and if he can do it again I think he’ll definitely get more national attention.
