The Sporting News chimes in on Brennan’s draft prospects
The Sporting News thinks Colt would have been the second quarterback taken in the 2007 NFL Draft (which means Notre Dame’s Brady Quinn might still be waiting to be drafted if Brennan would have come out) and is high on him again for the 2008 draft. They have him in their top 10 prospects, here’s their thoughts on his draft prospects:
Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii. Brennan almost entered the ‘07 draft and likely would have been the second quarterback drafted. Despite his physical skills and production, skeptics wonder whether Brennan can play in a traditional NFL offense. We won’t know the answer to that issue until the Senior Bowl.
